This is a Full-time position in Bordentown, NJ posted August 2, 2021.
A large global insurance company is looking for an actuary to join their Long-Term Care Valuation team. You will oversee the analysis and maintenance of actuarial reserves and related reports in GAAP, STAT and Tax modeled in GGY AXIS. This individual will also research and implement new GAAP LDTI standards and help build analytics to analyze emerging experience. My client is happy to assist with relocation for individuals coming out of State but also has full time remote flexibility even post COVID. Please apply if you have the correct qualifications!
Responsibilities:
- Perform valuation results analysis for Active Lives and Disabled Lives, using GAAP and Statutory reserve roll forwards other tools to explain reserve movement drivers
- Develop and implement assumption sets, and build analytics to analyze emerging experience
- Manage a team of lower level actuarial students
- Be the main point of contact with senior stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or ASA
- 8+ years of actuarial experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP, STAT and TAX Financial Reporting requirements
- Strong GGY AXIS Modeling skills
