The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for all Corporate accounting activities; performing a wide range of accounting related duties on a professional level.

Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the financial affairs of the Corporate Division.

Other responsibilities will include providing data and information to business leaders, allowing them to make the best decisions for the business.

The Corporate Accounting Manager is a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, therefore the integrity of the work is critical.

Successfulness in this position is dependent on excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares consolidated financial statements.
  • Month-end and year-end closing.
  • General Ledger Accountability.
  • Financial reporting and associated management support.
  • Ensures integrity and updates of standard accounting practices.
  • Year-end Audit.
  • Meet deadlines on projects and tasks as assigned by the Corporate Controller.
  • Key participant in ERP implementation.
  • Drive standardization of reporting / financial processes.
  • Bank covenant compliance reporting.
  • Management & Development of Accounting Staff.
  • Develop and monitor compliance with policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s degree preferred
  • Five (5) years of work experience in an accounting role.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • CPA certification is preferred but is not required.
  • SAP experience preferred.
