Responsibilities of the Corporate Accountant

• Analyzing balance sheet and P&L statements
• Analyzing profit margins for various product lines
• Assisting with annual budget preparation
• Assisting in the month end close process
• Tax compliance for federal, state, and local taxes
• Timely and accurate preparation of periodic financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience of the Corporate Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
• 3 years experience in financial statement preparation, month end closing preferred
• 3 years SAP experience preferred
• 2 years experience with corporate taxes, federal & state income tax preferred
• Strong Excel skills preferred
• CPA and/or CMA designation preferred.
