ATLANTA DREAM COORDINATOR FINANCE & ADMINSTRATIONJOB DESCRIPTIONTitle: Atlanta Dream Coordinator, Finance & AdministrationDepartment: Atlanta Dream Finance & AdministrationReports to: Atlanta Dream Chief Operating Officer (COO)Type: Exempt,Full”TimeSummary:The Atlanta Dream Coordinator of Finance & Administration will primarily be responsible for performing daily accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, recording and posting entries in the financial system, preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (G.A.A.P.) and established company polices, accounts receivable collections, processing accounts payables invoice, and performing ad-hoc accounting projects as requested by management.

In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for administrative duties that include management of the shared company file structure, assisting with player / staff on-boarding processes and helping develop strong office procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare bank deposits & bank transfersPrepare monthly bank reconciliationPrepare, input and file monthly journal entriesPrepare monthly pre-paids and accrualsCompile and track fixed assets & depreciationPrepare accounts receivable (A/R) invoicingConduct A/R follow-up (phone calls/2nd and 3rd notices, etc.)Prepare monthly account roll forwards and balance sheet account reconciliationsProcess Accounts Payable (A/P) invoicesAssist with preparation and analysis of organizational financial statementsAssist with other monthly close activities as assignedPlayer and seasonal staff paperwork processingPrepare annual tax forms, such as W-2s and 1099sAssist with the annual financial auditOther related duties as assignedContribute to the development and maintenance of company-wide policies and proceduresQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance0-3 years accounting experienceKnowledge and Skills:Familiarity with accounting/financial software Experience using team accounting software preferredSolid understanding of general accounting principlesProficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to analyze and evaluate financial data and effectively communicate verbally and in writingStrong administrative and organization skills with attention to detail and follow-up requiredAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of management demonstrating a strong balance of technical and interpersonal skills
