Growing start-up company is seeking an experienced Controller to lead and manage accounting and FP&A functions.

You will have the opportunity to build out processes and a team.

This position will require CPG experience, strong knowledge of GAAP for manufacturing, and will have a track record of success in a similar role within a multi-brand and/or multi-division CPG business.

Given this company is in the early stages of growth, the Controller must be a high-energy “doer” as well as a manager.

The Controller will report to the CFO and be based in Denver, CO.

What you’ll actually do:
Manage and lead all accounting and FP&A functions for principal company and its subsidiaries Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting Manage Acumatica ERP System Manage sales and income tax compliance and reporting including managing annual tax and financial audits.

Collaborate on development and overseeing of company KPI’s and establishing new policies and procedures As growth demands, this role will help build out a team
The ideal candidate:
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field 15+ years of accounting experience with 5+ in CPG CPA Required Mergers & Acquisitions Experience Superior financial modeling skills in Excel Ability to hit the ground running and be self-directed
