One of the top suppliers in their industry Has a true team culture with an open door policy Our client is looking for a motivated, self-starter who is dedicated to accuracy and customer service nn nn nn Overview of the Controller role: nn Prepare and analyze financials for each location; cash management & budget and forecasting Manage the daily operations of the Accounting Department (receivables, payables, accruals, fixed assets, controls, payroll, sales, etc.); Management of the month-end close function to ensure timely preparation of financial statements Display excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills required in working with customers/coworkers Develop and implement accounting processes, controls & policies Mentors subordinates and staff with respect and encouragement nn Preferred Qualifications for the Controller: nn Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required CPA required 8+ years of related experience and/or training Manufacturing/Distribution experience
