Controller – Diverse Candidates Encouraged

City of Sun Prairie, WI (pop 35,895) is looking for a talented and energetic Controller to manage the Citys accounting and financial processing functions ofthe Finance Department.

Under the direction of the Finance Director, this position will perform senior level professional work and direct the day to day operations of the Accounting Division. The Controller will assist the Finance Director in the development of the annual budget, the ten-year capital improvement plan, and be the lead in the annual audit.

Requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field with three to five years of experience in related accounting work. Experience in governmental accounting and/or auditing is preferred.
