– When participating in inventory counts, organize the staff & data details to provide accuracy to the resultsnn nnResponsibilities include:nn nn Daily processing of queries & reports to validate that Actual cost inventory subledger is in balance to the Inventory on the General Ledger, record results in ongoing log for trackingnn nn Participate, when necessary, in count of inventory to reconcile actual countsnn nn Detailed GP system investigation to understand any out of balance, make recommendations to data owners on process to revise and/or adjustments to make in order to ”right” the out of balancenn nn Diagnose the cause of Inventor Variancesnn nn Sign off approval of inventory adjustments including reason codes directed to correct GL accounts (example lab use inven.nn nn Understand and reconcile Actual cost of raw materials, landed costs, vendor costs, and labor & overhead to the cost of finished goods produced in manufacturingnn nn Sign off approval & tasking to Disassemble manufactured goods, assure proper posting to GLnn nn Validate posting flow of manufacturing, sales order processing, purchase order processing, cycle count process to validate accurate GL accounts being transactednn nn Regularly generate, analyze, and support inventory reports & queriesnn nn Work together with purchasing to validate vendor cost of raw materials, and estimate total item costs for review consideration, cost reductions, etc.nn nnby Jobblenn
