Job Description Growing construction company in Miami is looking to bring on a Controller or an Assistant Controller to be the right hand of the CFO.

Newly created role.

Responsible for the accounting and finance operations of the company.

Prepare monthly financial reports for multiple multi-million dollar projects.

Generate balance sheet, profit & loss, actual vs budget, and cash flow reports for the financial package.

Review and prepare journal entries.

Reconcile all operating bank accounts.

Monitor bank account cash balances.

Prepare letters and reports to request draws from bank loans.

Reconcile assets and liabilities such as accruals and prepaid.

Maintain, post, and reconcile escrow deposits and disbursements.

Work with project management staff to review and analyze job cost estimates and monthly reports.

Job Requirements: Job Requirements Candidates must have construction experience in an Accounting and Finance capacity.

CPA highly preferred.
