Controller

Our client in the Bethlehem, PA area is looking for a Controller for a contract role. As the Controller you will be responsible for timely completion of month-end MIS with high levels of accuracy. This role is Onsite.

Responsibilities of Controller

  • Set up cost rates for pricing and inventory valuation.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis / forecasting as requested by Finance Director.
  • Manage Sales and COGS monthly close data.
  • Scrutinize general ledger to ensure accuracy of OpEx information.
  • Monitor all working capital and planned CapEx activity.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasts and monitor cash and loan positions.
  • Provide key inputs, information, and detailed support for decision making to the Finance Director, Site Leadership Team, Corporate Finance, and Corporate ExCom team, as needed.
  • Balance sheet account schedules review to be competed every month and filed in the month-end binders, along with journal entries and support.
  • Ensure timely data submissions for internal and external audits, as well as quarterly data to Corporate Finance for consolidations.

    Job Requirements:

    Skills/Qualifications of Controller

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field (Master’s degree highly preferred).
  • 8+ years’ finance experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Hold a CPA, CME, CGMA or CIMA certification.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • 5+ years Controller experience.
  • ERP systems proficiency and SAP experience strongly preferred.
