Clerk – Accounting

This is a Full-time position in Wilmington, DE posted December 12, 2021.

Job Summary Process transactions in Accounting Department which will include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and other general office functions.

Accounts Payable – All steps in processing vendor invoices for payments.

Accounts Receivable – All processes to record shipments into invoices and process invoices to customers for payment.

Payroll – Process employee hours for submitting to payroll processing company.

Essential job functions Compiling, reviewing, coding and sorting documents Data entry Filing Reporting for work regularly and on time PREFERRED SKILLS Basic Qualifications: At least 1 year in an admin./clerical position.

Perform 4 basic math operations with decimals and fractions.

Ability to read accounting documents – vendor invoices, shipping documents Ability to write simple sentences, series of numbers, names and addresses.

Must be able to communicate clearly using email.

Must have high school diploma or equivalent Must have intermediate computer skills (basic spreadsheet and word processing) Other Skills Ability to operate or learn to operate various machines, such as: Personal computer, adding machine, calculator, copier, telephone, fax.

Working Conditions Inside, office environment.

Overtime required.

Physical Demands Sedentary Reaching Seeing, Hearing, Speaking Performance Standards Required Accurate, orderly and timely processing of accounting transactions.
