The Risk & Control MCA Operations Group Manager is critical to drive execution and oversight of numerous initiatives and programs to include: Budgeting, R& C point of contact to liaison with Resource Management Organization (RMO) R& C team, Reporting support, Supplier Management, along with any other critical initiatives driven at the Citi global level.

This role will also be responsible for supporting Global Head and the Regional Leads by ensuring oversight and supporting where needed as Risk and Control Manager for the Staffing Office.

The ideal candidate must be a strategic professional with more than 10 years experience leading global programs.

They will have to advice the Global Head on R& C items while representing the Staffing Office in forums driven at the RMO/Citi Enterprise level.

Duties to include:Drive initiatives with Staffing Office Operations team to identify Risk and Control gaps/weakness, analyze root cause, and develop robust and practical correction action plans to improve the quality and effectiveness of the control environmentEvaluate exposure of key control deficiencies and ensure management has effective and timely remediation plansDrive initiatives of assessing the effectiveness of controls and determine the potential impact of control failures and corrective actions required for the Staffing OfficeCo-ordinate periodic reporting; analyze business unit control self-assessment and audit results; and assist in formulating effective remedial solutionsEstablish and maintain effective customer focused working relationships with managers, customers, audit partners and other colleagues during the course of workEnsure departmental processes and procedures are current and assist management with reengineering efforts and participate process reviews and deep dives, as neededSupport the alignment of the Staffing Office program (MCA) with RMO R& C methodologiesPrepare clear, concise and accurate documentation, reports of work performed and other written materials; read, interpret, explain and apply critical thinkingProvide support to Risk and Control Management in the implementation of Citi wide initiatives and projects including key corporate and proceduresEnsure complete and effective MCA testing.Create Corrective Action Plans for any identified issues and ensure that the 5 criteria are met to gain IBAM credits for CAPS.Meet with and establish relationships with ICRM country contacts, ORM, and TPM to ensure we understand changes to regulations or processes that could impact the business.Manage a team of resources to educate them on R& C items and drive to completion timely CAP and MCA management.Key responsibilitiesMonitor the Staffing Office R& C initiatives and environmentConduct Staffing Office R& C meetings with senior leadership and business partnersSupport the Annual Risk Assessment to ensure an Effective rating for the Staffing OfficePropose creative and pragmatic solutions for risks and control issuesAct advisor of control related guidelines and policies for the Staffing OfficeProvide guidance and subject matter expertise in the establishment of an effective risk management program focused on policy and operating procedures complianceOversee and ensure activities related to key R& C programs for the Staffing Office including, but not limited to Managers Control Assessment (MCA), Audits, Issues and CAPS are consistent with global risk/standards and objectivesCommunicate with Global Head and Regional Leads status on budget and headcountAssist in the identification and assessment of risk and financial impacts to the Staffing Office yearly budgetIdentify trends and potential issues when applicable, not limited to operations, staff and/or budgetActively participate in meetings with Finance, Projects, R& C, etc.Utilize various business tools and corporate system applications to perform job dutiesJob RequirementsBA/BS degree10 years of experience in business/operations and/or risk and control areasIdeal candidate would have considerable business background spanning areas such as operations, technology, finance, and compliance/control; financial services experience a plus10 years leadership and transformation experience across several large complex programsAble to interpret and apply policies, regulations and standards to the Staffing Office operationsSound, deep knowledge of risk and control methodology and best practices; must understand Citis R& C programs (i.E.
