This position is part of the FP& A team and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA, or Remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Finance advisor and thought leader to Customer Care leadership and Business teams to drive improvements in the areas of revenue, new product launches, business solutions, coverage models, resource planning, labor, and materials standard costs, and overall operational efficienciesLead monthly, quarterly, and annual Customer Care financial processes to include AOP management, monthly forecast alignment, month-end close, and bi-monthly revenue forecasting processesCommunicate closely with Finance and Business leadership and present monthly Customer Care finance performance and provide insightful flux commentariesUse appropriate metrics and forward-looking modeling tools to help the Customer Care team enhance their financial and operational performance trendsApply DBS methodologies like Kaizen, daily management to identify root causes & develop mitigation plans, implement and monitor outcomes and continually strive for operational improvementsActively engage and contribute to long term planning & strategy and constantlyseeking to value-add to the current process, information system, and business growth!Lead and encourage the current team of dedicated finance team members which consists of 2 direct reports and 2 dotted line (1 France and 1 India)Prepare and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis requested by Executive management and department leaders as needed to support the business The essential requirements of the job include:An undergraduate degree is required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area), MBA preferredExperience with Customer Care/Service department or division is preferred9+ years of demonstrated ability in a similar roleAdvance proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups), Access, SQL and/or VBAStrong systems skills with a preference toward SAP, OneStream, and/or BIDemonstrate an understanding of accounting theory and practice (e.G.
