Overview:Responsible for oversight of the general financial activities of Novia.
This includes preparing and generating reports, presenting strategy recommendations, operational analysis, cost analysis, and business process as it relates to IT, and overseeing financial transactions.Essential Duties:Assist the CEO and management teams with the development and implementation of policies and procedures in order to optimize the company’s operations.Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.Prepare and analyze financial management reports.Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, technical & security processes, andfuture revenues.Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.Supports budget and forecasting activities, conduct hands-on cost analysis within the fabrication facility.Ideal Candidate:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalentProficient with utilizing software, and ability to recommend business process in relation to operating systems, involvement in transitioning ERP systems is a plus.Minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting, or similar experience, CPA or ability to obtain within 6 months required.Excellent interpersonal skills; team work and collaboration is a corner stone of corporate culture, and paramount to this role.Organized, able to prioritize, strategical operational thinking, set and meet long and short-term financial goals.Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
