Job Description

At a high level, the Business Intelligence Mgr is currently responsible for validating all of bandwidth vendor invoices, vendor contracts including understanding the terms and conditions, managing monthly accruals for accounting and reconciliation, meeting compliance requirements, and various ad-hoc reports to ensure operations is making sound business decisions.

The role must have a good understanding of the vendor contracts as they are responsible for accruing for future expenses, disputing discrepancies and making credit requests.

On a monthly basis, the BI Mgr ensures the invoices are paid with correct charges and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.

If they do not validate the invoices, the payment will not be made and network vendors could possibly shut down the services.

The process involves setting up the vendor and contracts in the system, setting up in the appropriate cost system, validating against our network traffic, validating price changes, etc.
