Business & Financial Analyst

Nuverra Environmental Solutions Business & Financial Analyst is a leader and subject matter expert responsible for leading the review and analysis of the company’s core assets, customers, markets and competitive position in the basins it operates and overseeing, executing and managing day to day treasury functions.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and other analytical software applications Ability to quickly understand and use treasury monitoring software Ability to travel (up to 30%) including extended stay within specific shale regions Operational Job Functions and Responsibilities:
• Core Analytical Projects / Functions Include:
• Evaluation of Top 10 Customer operations and spending in each Geographical Region; latest drilling plans with a development model for each producer based on areas closest to the Company’s assets; utilize analysis to forecast future revenue; identify business foot print
• Variance analysis of customers and assets over time – where have we had largest declines / successes and why
• Review of new technologies or potential business lines
• Work on Metrics Book Analytical Presentation including streamlining of data sources for ease of production
• Help monitor and utilize daily operating data for projection functions
• Help with preparing board materials and other internal memorandum
• Update Three Statement Model Tied into Budget Linked to Liquidity Analysis
• Core Treasury Management, Oversight and Periodic Execution Functions include:
• Daily and weekly cash monitoring including variance reporting
• Monitoring and maintaining bank balances/transactions, facilitating wires, managing bank approvals, reviewing positive pay exceptions
• Liquidity monitoring; including 1-week and 13-week cash flow forecasting; weekly liquidity call
• Surety bond and letter of credit program
• Manage reporting for banks including debt compliance and detailed borrowing base reporting
• Credit analysis and monitoring of receivables from largest accounts Ensure timely payment of major time sensitive payables such as health insurance, etc.
