Bookkeeper

Ref ID: 02680-0011465194 Classification: Bookkeeper Compensation: DOE A growing corporation located in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary to hire basis.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for:
– Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
– Performing day to day financial transactions
– verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording account data
– Reconciling all accounts on an as needed basis
– Tracking paperwork
– invoices, AP/AR, charges
– for entire import process, including negotiated prices
– Preparing financial statements for year-end
– Assisting senior team with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records and statements
– Experience within the Food, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Import/Export or Wholesale Trade industry would be a HUGE PLUS
