The Atlanta office is seeking a Healthcare Internal Audit & Financial Advisory Senior Consultant to join our growing team.
The Senior Consulta nt coaches Interns, Consultants, and facilitates the successful completion of project work plan . Serving as both role model and trainer, the Senior Consultant demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency. The Senior Consultant learns to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve efficiencies. Relationships with client personnel and professional associates strengthen as the ability to communicate, gain trust , and network improves. At the direction of managers, the Senior Consultant may accept responsibility for decision-making, ranging from staffing and preparation of deliverables to application of methodologies.

A solid foundation of healthcare industry knowledge and a deep understanding of key internal controls related to r evenue c ycle , c ompliance , p rivacy, o peration al , c linical, IT, and /or f inanc ial processes .

D evelop and review key internal audit documents and deliverables.
U nderstand risk, identify process improvement s , and apply knowledge of industry-leading practices and next-gen internal audit concepts .
L everage Excel, internal and client systems , and data visualization tools to analyze and as s e s s data and infer insights such as operational deficiencies, outliers, key trends, etc.
U nderstand and apply regulatory knowledge and industry-relevant compliance requirements .
Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including audit documentation and presentation s .
A pply technical knowledge , critical thinking skills, and innovative practices to add value to projects, client s, and deliverables.
U ndertake multiple activities at any given time , work in a fast-paced and flexible environment , and adapt to a rapidly changing environment .
W ork with a diverse portfolio of clients across providers, payers, physician s , and post-acute settings.
Experience leading multiple teams, executing projects, and developing junior resources.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. , Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or b usiness- r elated f ield) required.
3+ years working in internal audit , assurance, compliance, consulting / advisory services, central business office, or other related field, either in the healthcare industry o r healthcare professional services .
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel , and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Tableau / Power BI, Visio , and Access.
Experience working in Electronic Health Record s (EHR s ) (e.g., Epic, Meditech, Cerner, Athena, etc.) and /or E nterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Infor, Oracle, SAP, WorkDay , etc.) .
P rofessional certifications such as CPA, CIA , CFE, Six Sigma/ Lean, Certified Scrum Professional , and/or healthcare industry-specific CHIAP, CRCR , CHFP, CHC, CHPC, CHRC, or similar strongly preferred.
We travel throughout the month frequently based upon client requests / commitments. Travel may include suburban, regional, or out-of-state locations.
