Asst. Controller

This Assistant Controller opportunity is responsible for all aspects of SEC Reporting for corporate accounting.

Duties will include preparation and review of external reporting documents such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K’s and 11-K’s.

Review of all footnotes.

Maintain SOX documentation.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC accounting and reporting.

Work directly with external auditors and assist in assessing and controlling compliance risk.

Qualifications include BA in Accounting, CPA or CPA track, 2-3 years BIG 4 experience, previous experience with SEC filings for public companies, in-depth knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements and familiarity with IFRS.

Must have comfort level working directly with all levels of management, executives and outside committees/auditors and attorneys.
