Assistant Controller (Marlow)

Parker & Lynch s Client, an established retail company located in Northern Oklahoma, is looking for an Assistant Controller to add to their team. This position would be responsible for the review and reconciliation of GL accounts, month end entries, financial statements, and all financial regulatory deadlines. Ideal candidate is an experience accountant with 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the retail industry, and multiple entity accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Managing/supervising accounting team
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and procedures
• Assisting in the development/improvement of processes and policies
• Supervision and review of all daily accounting functions

Qualifications:

• At least a Bachelor s Degree in Accounting
• CPA would be a plus but not required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including 2+ years in management roles
• Previous retail industry experience (preferred)
• Ability to work successfully over multiple entities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
