Assistant Controller

Job DescriptionCarlysle Engineering has been providing Fire Protection construction contract services in the New England area for the past 70 years. We are currently seeking an Entry Level, assistant controller to join our accounting team.This position is an ideal opportunity for someone with goals to join an established organization offering great growth potential. Responsibilities will eventually include internal financial reporting, AR management, supervision of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax reporting, union benefits, insurance issues and general project accounting.Candidate should be a strong multi-tasker capable of solving practical problems. Candidate should have a bachelor degree in accounting, business management or finance.  Ideal candidates will have 4-6 years of work experience in the engineering and/or construction industries.Benefits including health and dental insurance, paid sick, vacation and holiday time as well as 401k plan.
