Application Development Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in search of an Application Development Analyst in Tallahassee, FL.

Key Tasks: Contractor, through the selected candidate, must perform the following tasks as assigned by the Department’s Contract Manager and described in the list below: App Dev Analyst will work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions; These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards; As an App Dev Analyst, you will be involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget; Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code; Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs.

build recommendations; Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies Comply with OATS Administrative Policies and Procedures by working directly with the Department’s Contract Manager throughout the PO term As an App Dev Analyst, you will prepare ISDM or SDF documentation that indicates the project complies with OATS policies and procedures; Apprise OATS staff on ISDM or SDF information as directed by the Department’s Contract Manager Address Project Team conflict and communication problems proactively Review required documentation evidencing the deliverable for completeness and correctness before submitting to the Project Team and Stakeholders; App Dev Analysts obtain acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Contract Manager and appropriate Stakeholders Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field or equivalent work experience Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff A minimum of two to five years of programming/systems analysis experience Preferred Experience: Skills in understanding Oracle databases and Oracle forms and reports Ability to write complex queries and develop complex PL/SQL database objects and/or ability to write complex queries utilizing transact SQL Knowledge of relational database design, data processing and data communications Ability to write, read, and interpret technical specifications, test cases, and software requirements Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
