Description:ABC Bank Family of Companies is a leader in the Mortgage Industry and is looking for driven Mortgage Lenders to join our team!We are currently seeking qualified applicants to work as a Mortgage Loan Officer (Inside Sales) for American Bank of Commerce NMLS#460789 and our subsidiary Infinity Mortgage Holdings (IMH) NMLS 144092.

The Inside Sales Mortgage Loan Officer will exemplify to the Company’s Mission, Vision, Values and Goals.The Inside Sales Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) is responsible for origination of residential mortgage loans.

Leads will be provided and the MLO will be responsible for timely follow up and meeting expected conversion of leads into closed loans.

Candidates should be able to convey policies for extension of credit in accordance with Bank and secondary investor guidelines.

The MLO serves customers, prospective customers, and referral sources promptly and professionally.The preferred candidate will have a minimum of one to three years prior residential mortgage lending experience, customer focus experience, or related sales experience.

Great incentives are available based on achievements.Essential Job Functions: Conducting outbound and answering inbound calls and face-to-face meetings with prospects and customers daily, Building and maintaining relationships with new and repeat customers, Maintaining records of all sales leads and customer accounts, Educating customers on the residential mortgage loan process, the differences between different types of loans, and how particular loans may or may not benefit them, Receiving customer applications, quoting rates and fees, and completing follow-up activities and registration lock-ins, Selling the Company’s products and services to new and repeat customers, Monitoring market conditions and the Company’s competition to better understand the current needs of customers, Maintaining current knowledge of, and complying with, all applicable Requirements, Originating the actual mortgages, Overseeing the loan transaction from initiation, through processing, approval, closing and recording, while ensuring the customer understands and is satisfied with the process, and that the activities undertaken comply with Company Policies; and Handling customer questions and complaints.

Ensures the integrity of the information submitted in the loan application process and completes all steps within the required time frame.

Maintains consistent volume of mortgage loans in pipeline.

Consistently cleans that pipeline of adverse applications that are not active or should be declined for other reasons per ECOA guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisor.

Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.

Adhere to all relevant security responsibilities as outlined in the Bank’s Information Security ProgramSpecialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and concisely in verbal and written form with customers, supervisors, peers or subordinates.

Demonstrated understanding of mortgage processing, underwriting and closing procedures.

Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.

Understanding of Federal Regulations governing Real Estate Lending.

Explain rules, policies or regulations.

Making decisions and problem solving Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to use sound judgment and work independently Strong computer skills including a fundamental understanding of MS applications, database management and previous experience utilizing laptop technology for communication purposes including accessing rate, credit and loan status information.

Solid time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data and provide financial alternatives.

Computer literate with Microsoft Office products Extensive experience working with loan origination systems (LOS) strongly preferred.

Well versed in Conventional Lending.

Knowledge of financial management.

Strong technical skills; Proficiency in MS Office.
