You’re constantly evolving, so shouldn’t your opportunities be, too?The OpportunityThis role will be responsible for detecting and investigating incidents of suspected employee fraud or misconduct, employing standard investigative practices with a strong emphasis on cyber and forensic analysis skills.The Work ItselfProvide investigative, fraud risk services to all lines of business.
Position is responsible for investigating potential internal financial crimes and other inappropriate employee actions, reviewing current controls, recommending control enhancements, and preparing investigative summaries for both Corporate Investigation leadership and FinCen.Liaison for Behavior Analytics and our Partners within IT Development and operations.Develop and implement Employee Monitoring systems and strategies.Maintain the collection of data, tools and documentation for the investigation and attribution of escalated cyber incidents.Maintain the Development timeline for Employee Monitoring, Behavior Analytics, Other Projects, and Items under Consideration.Triage DLP Alerts, maintain ongoing collaboration with DLP team, and update maintain the metrics.Facilitate requests for the M365 Compliance Platform pertaining to Email, Teams Chats, and phone calls with the Compliance eDiscovery Tool.
Maintain relationship with Email/IT teams associated.Maintain current and new Desktop Procedures for EFSI Corporate Cyber Fraud.Retrieve forensically sound digital evidence for technical analysis of computers and business system logging dataSupport cyber fraud investigations as a subject matter expertPossess a strong working knowledge of a Financial Institutions line of business operating practices and policies; and maintain strong working relationships with appropriate industry groups and governmental agencies.
Position will work closely with LOB representatives to resolve escalated incidents.Utilize sound judgment and knowledge of financial investigative tools/techniques to establish an investigative plan.Initiate investigation by gathering facts and evidence; prepare investigative summaries that document findings while examining the current control environment; prepare suspicious activity reports; run appropriate database checks; conduct formal and informal subject interviews.Ideal candidate will also be familiar with industry-standard cyber-investigative tools; such as Discovery Attender, Veriato Investigator/360, ObserveIT, EnCase Forensic, EnCase Enterprise, CroudStrike, DLP platforms, and forensic acquisition / processing hardware.Maintain current knowledge and awareness of investigative/fraud techniques, privacy laws, bank regulations, investigation and incident handling policy and procedure.The Skills You Bring3 years investigation handling experience into incidents that occur in a multi-line financial services company.Candidate would preferably have experience working in a multi-line financial institution and have a strong understanding of financial institution operating practices and policies as well as regulations governing bank activities.Excellent organizational, management, and communications skills.Ability to foster collaborative work partnerships and influence people at all organizational levels.Must have an understanding and commitment of the continuous business improvement process.Knowledge of risk management and control principles.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in criminal justice, business administration, security management, or another related field.At least 3 years working at a financial services institution is preferred.Individual must possess good written and oral communication skills.Must be comfortable working in a matrix organization responding to multiple stakeholders.Must be fully committed to providing exceptional customer service to business partners and fraud risk leadership.Must be a ” Problem-solver”and be willing to get creative to overcome challenges.Must possess a strong analytic mindset.Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently and initiate proactively.Strong attention to detail.Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodationIdeal candidate would be located in Charlotte, NC.Travel to other business locations may be required (< 10%).How We'll Have Your BackAlly's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
