The company produced an average of 198 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2020.
ConocoPhillips has major ownership interests in two of North America’s largest oil fields, both located on Alaska’s North Slope—Kuparuk, which the company operates, and Prudhoe Bay.

The company has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.**Description**Alaska Finance/Tax is seeking a candidate for an administrative position for a candidate able to perform a variety of office support, including but not limited to tasks related to legal documents and correspondence, calendaring deadlines, and maintaining legal files, records and documents in electronic or paper.
As part of the finance and tax function, you are approachable with a friendly customer service focus, possess strong organizational skills, be flexible to support a changing work environment and a variety of assignments, and regularly prioritize competing tasks with limited supervision.**Responsibilities include:**+ Preparing, developing, and maintaining tax case files, calendaring and tracking deadlines, maintaining appeal and litigation budgets+ Copying and scanning of tax documents, uploading large document files, comm w/ outside firms for doc transfer, invoice handling, etc.+ Assisting with PowerPoint slides and transcription+ Performing on-line research and in-person at agencies and courts+ Manage floor office supplies, office moves, prepare travel and expense reports, and distribute mail+ Prepare and maintain “on-boarding” materials for incoming employees including office procedures, ergonomic evaluation, desk and office equipment, arranging initial safety training, badging, and other support as appropriate+ Coordination, logistics and hospitality for all external visitors to the floor+ General floor admin duties such as securing calendars, managing facility work order requests+ Coordinate community service events such as United Way, Day of Caring event, and other company functions for supported groups+ Provide back-up coverage on an as-needed basis for other Administrative Assistants+ Other projects and/or ad hoc requests as they ariseQualifications:**Basic/Required:**+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S.
