– Colorado Springs, COOBJECTIVE:To drive efficiency, effectiveness, and enjoyment for The O’Neil Group Company and supported affiliates in the areas of Office Administration and General Accounting.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES:Support to a variety of corporate and affiliate departments in areas such as:Identify, implement and maintain physical and electronic filing system improvementsEdit and reformat written or electronic drafts of documentsTranscribe technical, legal, or similar documents from voice tapes, notes, or draftsInterpret and adapt guidelines, including unwritten policies, precedents, and practicesCompose correspondence about administrative matters and general office policiesTrain employees on the new office, accounting, and other functional processes and proceduresMaintain calendars for corporate compliance andRead publications, regulations, and directives and take action or refer those that are important to the supervisor and staffGENERAL ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES:Support to the Controller and Staff Accountants in areas such as:Maintain journals and subsidiary ledgers of the various accounting systemsBalances and reconcile general ledger and bank accountsReview and submit invoices and statementsProcess purchase orders and vendor billsCode transactionsProcessing material through data processing for application in the accounting systemPreparing and presenting standard reportsDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Motivated, organized, adaptable, and positiveStrong critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and task management skillsDetail-oriented, efficient at multitaskingQuickbooks and/or Appfolio experience a plusMicrosoft Suite skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (particularly excel)2 + years of office experience a plusJOB TYPE: Full Time or Part Time, Non-ExemptCOMPENSATION: Dependent Upon Experience
