Accounts Payable Specialist

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a world leader in the tech industry to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

This role will have hands-on responsibility for the month-end/year-end close process Overview of Company seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist: Our client is a global publicly traded leading consumer products company with a HQ just north of Boston They have been in the public market for the last 15 years and continue to grow The company was established 25 years ago our client fosters invention, discovery and technological exploration in the pursuit of practical and valuable robot products They are at the forefront of developing technologies in the areas of mapping and navigation, human-robot interaction, and physical solutions The company has over 1000 employees with over $1B in revenues They foster a close-knit flexible culture; though they have separate departments for different accounting processes, the entire team works together very cohesively Background Expected of the Accounts Payable Specialist: Three years’ experience with full-cycle, high volume accounts payable processing General accounting knowledge desired to help with other departments Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in Oracle is a plus Job Requirements: Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist: Processing a high volume of invoices, about 3,000/month Using both a manual paper process and Oracle to properly three-way match Expense report reconciliation and team communication for this process Communicating with vendors about invoicing Managing the Accounts Payable inboxes
