As the Accounting Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an indispensable part of International Construction Company.

This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Maysville, Georgia area and will be a long-term temporary position.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

– Conduct full-cycle A/P
– Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
– Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
– Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
– Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
– Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
– Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
– Carry out additional projects as required
– Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling Job Requirements:
– Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
– AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
– Be detailed, flexible, and organized
– Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
– Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
– Sage 300 experience
– 2 years of experience in an A/P role preferred
