Accounts Payable Clerk Our client is a large non-profit organization located in the greater Boston area.

They are dedicated to their mission and need assistance with a backlog of accounts payable work so they can continue to provide services to an under-served population.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK ROLE: Accounts Payable
– 3 years experience ideally in high volume AP setting Experience with three-way matching, working with purchase orders Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid computer skills including intermediate MS Excel skills; SAP or other ERP systems experience Job Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST: The Accounts Payable Clerk will check and approve all vouchers for payment Prepare invoice deduction notices, as necessary Answer all vendor inquiries Analyze vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted Prepare accounts payable checks Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files Prepare analysis of accounts, as required Assist in monthly closings Assist with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary
