Accounting Technician

NAMI Orange County is a non-profit organization serving the community through education and support for those affected by mental illness and their friends and families. We have an opportunity for you to join our team in the finance department as an Accounting Technician. We are looking for a dedicated individual ready to hit the ground running. This position can be either part time or full time, negotiable. Full time employees receive additional benefits. This position is operating remotely at this time. When the office reopens, this employee will report to the office for daily work.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Contract accounting to include administration & finance
• Budgeting, forecasting & contract management
• Monthly projections & annual budgets
• Audit preparation
• Attend meetings & respond to contract requests
• Finance team support
• Program team support
• (4) years of accounting experience necessary
• Contract accounting experience required
• Non-profit accounting experience a plus
• Advance Microsoft Office skills essential
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Online required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
