GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is responsible for processing pro card transactions, travel claim reimbursements, general ledgers journals such as: postage, print services, motor pool.
Audit the supporting documents for pro card transactions and travel reimbursement to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Initiate payable vouchers in SABHRS and verify the support documents for proper budget coding to ensure mathematical accuracy.
Resolves discrepancies by contacting the appropriate persons and make changes as necessary.
Review monthly Procurement statements, travel claims, and all other OPI pro-card holders’ pro-card bank statement activity and complete reconciliation of activity to determine reasonableness of charges.
Coordinate with pro-card holders or bank to trouble shoot identified issues.
Serves as backup in processing received checks in the Daily Cash Receipts System and scanning checks into the US Bank Single Point system for deposit with State Treasury.
Act as the primary back up for the other Accounting Technician duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor..
