This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.  For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.

Inventory Accounting Analyst        

Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a Inventory Accounting Analyst will include:

• Compensation (Range):  33-38/ hour
• Position is responsible for inventory accounting for the company domestic refineries.
• The position ensures all movements of product into and out of the refinery are properly reconciled.
• Communication and coordination with refinery personnel and the internal Commercial organization is necessary to successfully complete the tasks.
• Primary Functions/Responsibilities:
• Calculation and recording of inventory volumes and values
• Monthly product inventory analysis
• Prepare account reconciliation of inventory

Job Requirements

As a Inventory Accounting Analyst you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient/Advanced in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with a minimum of 15 Accounting hours

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Working knowledge of SAP FI and MM
• Excellent communication, analytical and reconciliation skills
• Experience in inventory accounting preferable
• Must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
