In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties.

An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations.

– Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processesnn nn nn nn
– Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and proceduresnn nn nn nn
– Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlooknn nn nn nn
– Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administratingnn nn nn nn
– Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemsnn nn nn nn
– Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing processnn nn nn nn

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experiencenn nn nn nn
– Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvementnn nn nn nn
– 5+ years of recent relevant financial experiencenn nn nn nn
– Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)nn nn nn nn
– Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)nn nn nn nn
– Annual Physical Inventory experiencenn nn nn nn
– Adeptness in financial statement preparationnn nn nn nn
– Experience with Analyze Financial Statementsnn nn nn nn
– Budget forecasting experience highly preferrednn nn nn nn
– Comprehensive knowledge of month end closingsnn nn nn nn
– Practical knowledge of budgetingnn nn nn nn
– Demonstrated knowledge of Inventory Variancenn nn nn nn
– General familiarity with variance analysisnn nn nn nn
– Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuablenn nn nn nn
