We are looking for a contractor with recent experience in Purchase Price Accounting (PPA) and ASC 805 who will work with the Company’s management and external specialists in accounting for this transaction.

The contractor will work remotely and report directly to the Director of Accounting.

Responsibilities * Read, summarize, analyze the SPA agreement related to the transaction* Prepare technical accounting memo (ASC 850 memo) related to the transaction* Prepare opening balance sheet and update it based on any adjustments made* Prepare disclosures required related to the transaction under ASC 805* Communicate and clear proposed accounting and disclosures with the Company’s management and external auditor (PWC)* Prepare journal entries and month end account reconciliations relating to the PPA accounts* Ensure all accounting deadlines project are met* Interact with other accounting and finance personnel as well as other external consultant (BDO) to ensure proper accounting and reporting of transaction* Assist in yearend audit as it relates to the PPA* Ensure a strong internal control environment* Any other duties required to successfully execute this role Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications: * 6 to 9 years of relevant accounting experience* Recent experience with ASC 805* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field* Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)* Intermediate-Expert in Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)* Ability and willingness to dig into details* Strong analytical skills* Able to work in a fast paced growth environment with an appropriate balance of urgency and quality* Excellent communication skills – both oral and written Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
