Jim Park (jim.park@roberthalf.com) is searching for an Accounting/Finance Supervisor.

We are seeking an experienced professional to be the Finance Supervisor to support our quick business growth in the U.S. Office. The Finance Supervisor reports to the General Manager of the U.S. Office and the Senior Finance Manager of our HQ in X’ian, China. This position also closely coordinates efforts with other Business Unit Leaders, Sales teams and other team members.
Responsibilities include:
– Responsible for the overall finance work in the US office, but mainly focus on taxation and law compliance, budget preparation and internal
control.
– Strong understanding of US sales and use taxation. Especially on sales and used tax, federal and state income tax, research tax issues
regarding compliance and assist management to minimize tax liability through sound and informed application of tax laws and regulations
permitting alternative treatment of taxable items
– Carry out various taxation work, cooperate with local offices of the consulting firm, and complete various tax filings quarterly and yearly;
actively support the annual auditing, follow up and respond to the bank confirmation letter and the customer’s letter of confirmation

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field;
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, CPA preferred.
• Will look at Tax candidates straight out of public accounting
• Very simple cash forecasting supporting the GM – will train.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax compliance and audit.
• Ability to read and write in Chinese is highly preferred due to frequent communication with HQ in China.
