Currently seeking an Accounting Coordinator with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks, must be organized, detailed orientated and a team player.
Job Requirements:
Job Functions:
– Daily entry of payments received from customers as well as monitoring past due accounts
– Track deposits made and handle deposit transfers
– Post accounts payable invoices per processes and procedures
– Resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies
– Monitor and reconcile credit card charges and payments
– Bank Reconciliation
– Compile information for tax filings
– Obtain W-9’s as needed, assist with 1099 preparation
– Assemble financial data for audits
– Enter, update and monitor item costs for pricing
– Monitor renewals and actions for our Trademarks and Patents
– Enter hours for weekly payroll, maintain PTO hours for employees
– Provide general support to the COO/Controller
– Maintain orderly financial filing system (paper and digital)
– Daily mail pick up
– Perform additional duties as requested
Job Requirements:
– Associates Degree preferred
– Minimum of 2 years of related experience required
– Basic accounting practices, on job training
– Computer proficiency; Typing, fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
– Analytical skills and accuracy with numbers
– Strong work ethic
– Strong communication skills
– Strong prioritizing and organizational skills
Physical Demands:
– This position will require long periods of sitting. Also, standing, walking, bending and kneeling that can occur on a daily basis.
