With nearly 30 years of expertise, OMI is the world leader in manufacturing natural odor eliminating solutions for industrial, commercial, and consumer applications.We are looking for a motivated Accounting Clerk to join our growing team!*Job Description for Accounting Clerk: *The Accounting Clerk will work in collaboration with Finance team members to support the business through projected sales growth.

This individual will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting transactions and department support.

The Accounting Clerk will report to the Director of Finance and will work cross-functionally with OMI’s Senior Accountant, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.*Responsibilities of Accounting Clerk include but are not limited to: ** Accounts Receivable* Apply cash payments in a timely manner.* Process Customer Credit Applications.* Contact customers to remind that payments are due.* Accounts Payable* Analyze and post freight invoices.* Post Bill Payments in ERP System.* Match invoices for weekly payments.* File Weekly payments.* General Accounting* Assist with department automation of processes and procedures.* Weekly reconciliation of cash account.* Assisting with related special projects as required.* Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Chief Financial Officer.*Experience/Requirements of **Accounting Clerk**: ** High School Degree* Minimum 2+ experience in a similar or equivalent role.* MS Office skills; Excel.* Familiarity with ERP systems.* Ability to create reports and business correspondence.* Ability to develop positive and effective relationships with co-workers, partners, and customers.* Strong aptitude to identify and improve business processes.* Demonstrated communication skills (oral, written, listening).* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.* Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.*Work Environment: *The individual in this role will work in a hybrid model.
