Job Purpose:
The Accounting Clerk has the primary responsibility to ensure the underlying financial activities of the business are accurate and up-to-date. The Accounting Clerk interfaces with business stakeholders, clients, and other accounting team members to execute their job. The Accounting Clerk’s roles is to generate invoices and work with clients on payment and reconciliations tasks, work with various business stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of underlying financial data (i.e., vendor profiles, order specific invoices, etc.), and work with various accounting stakeholders to routine functions (i.e., month-end, audit support, etc.).
Essential Job Functions:
  • Engage in WFG company culture that emphasizes engagement in our 4 Cs, quality of work and high performance.
  • Client Invoices, including preparation, distribution, collection, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure vendor records are updated and maintained as appropriate for year end tax efforts (i.e., 1099s).
  • Prepare weekly pay files for vendors, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the file.
  • Address credit card chargebacks with clients and business stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist with month-end, year-end, and special audit requests as required including Accounts receivable tracking, reporting requests, client reconciliations, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of accounting experience and education.
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks (v18 or higher).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal history and credit background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the Real Estate industry or Appraisal Management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job is operates in a professional office environment. This position is currently remote, but may be asked to rotate days in the office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Requirements/ADA:
No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.
Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; travel or other inconveniences have advance notice; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Days and hours of full –time position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
