Accounting Clerk

THK Manufacturing of America, Inc., a premier manufacturer of linear motion guides and automotive products, is looking to grow the support team by hiring an Accounting Clerk for our facility in Hebron, OH.

Responsibilities include:

The accounting clerk will provide general support to the accounting department in the form of helping with data entry in the form of inputting journal entries, assisting with month-end activities and both accounts payable and receivable, and processing invoices.

The accounting clerk may also be asked to provide payroll support.

This position requires a detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently and as a team member.
Key skills needed in this role:
Preparation: Data entry into the Accounts Payable and Receivable systems.

Will Maintain the financial records, run reports, and recording and posting financial transactions into the Subsidiaries and GL.

Reconciling: Maintain (data entry) financial records, run reports, and record basic financial transactions Reconcile Sub-ledger to general ledger account balances, intercompany balances, bank statements.

Projects: Will from time to time assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Working in a Team and Independent environment: Assist team with projects and monthly and year-end closes as well as handling multiple projects and responsibilities.

The ideal candidate holds the following qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Accounting coursework up to an intermediate level preferred

– 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong technology skills with Microsoft Word and Excel are critical
