If you take responsibility for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assist in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), you can advance your career in this Accounting Clerk position with a well-known, successful organization.

This full-time Accounting Clerk position is located in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area.

– Support Accounts Receivable by processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and helping with collection of past due balances
– Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed
– Perform general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects
– Support accounts payable by filing vendor invoice and disbursements and by matching & filing A/P invoices
– Create statements and reports that require the use of a number of sources
– Code documents using the proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
– Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned
– Post financial information to journals and ledgers Job Requirements:
– Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
– Electronic funds transfer experience
– Cash Deposits experience preferred
– Command of Cash Balance
– Practical knowledge of funds
– Cash Activity experience
– Deep understanding of Cash Clearing
– Adeptness in bank reconciliations
– Demonstrated knowledge of Foreign Currency
– General familiarity with Banking Transaction
– AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
– 3 years of accounting experience required
– Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
