Accounting Assistant – Growth Opportunity!

Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a non-profit organization to select an Accounting Assistant to join their team. About the Organization seeking an Accounting Assistant:

• Focusing on professional development in individuals, their goal has been to strengthen the workforce in Massachusetts for almost 40 years
• This team of 6 includes room for growth
• The team is currently remote under the current circumstances
• This position focusing on Accounts Payable, but including some Accounts Receivable and work on the General Ledger, so it is a great opportunity if you are looking to expand your skills in any of these three areas

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

• Accounts Payable, focusing on three-way matching and vendor contact
• Assistance with Accounts Receivable during busy times
• Preparing journal entries for the General Ledger
• Ad hoc projects and process improvement suggestions

Background Expected of the Accounting Assistant:

• 2-5 years’ Accounts Payable experience in a non-profit environment
• Additional experience with Accounts Receivable and full-cycle accounting experience is a plus
• Ability to work from home as necessary
