In this role providing superior customer service to internal and external customers is key to the success of this role and business.
You are responsible for relaying accurate information to management and counterparts through the preparation of transaction processing reports and partners with internal and external customers to process accurate and timely shipping information.
Additionally in this role you are creating Bills of Lading (BOLs), communicating with freight companies, IMT operations, accounting team members, and end-user customers.This role would require you to be onsite Monday through Friday.HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.* Ensure accurate and timely processing of business transactions in support of assigned job responsibilities.* Maintain files, forms and computer-based records in compliance with company policies and procedures.* Assist internal and external customers in answering questions on business transaction processing requirements and respond to inquiries.* Assist in preparation of accurate and timely transaction processing reports for internal management needs and external reporting requirements.* Maintain standard work instructions to document business transaction processing steps.* Apply continuous improvement principles and participate in process analysis and improvement projects.WHAT YOU NEED:* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Knowledge of basic Accounting concepts.WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT:* Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.* Relevant experience in accounting, payroll, or cash applications.* Knowledge of Microsoft Office.WORKING CONDITIONS:* Physical Demands: Frequent Hearing, Talking, Visual, Sitting, Typing, Manual Dexterity, Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion; Seldom Standing.* OSK100Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodation to job applicants with disabilities.
