Accounting Administrative Assistant

This is a Full-time position in Phoenix, AZ posted December 5, 2021.

We are a growing, fast-paced company with an immediate opening for an Accounting/Administrative person in our Phoenix corporate office.

This position is full-time after satisfactory completion of the training process.

The salary range is DOE. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills to include dealing with major customers and internal staff in person, via phone or by email and provide a high level of customer service.

This person will be working directly with our Accounting Manager and will be responsible for answering incoming calls, order and data entry, processing invoices, a wide range of administrative and general office tasks, assisting with payments to customer accounts, entering bills and ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policy and on time.

Must be computer literate (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook,) EDI and Sage50 experience is a plus.

Bookkeeping experience and an understanding of basic accounting principles is essential.

Position is 40 hours, Monday to Friday between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with actual hours to be determined.

Requirements:

  • Accounting or Bookkeeping experience
  • At least 3 years of office experience
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of accounting software Sage 50 a bonus
  • Reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of an administrative environment
  • Ability to cooperate with representatives of all levels
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work with minimal to no supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and highly motivated
  • Ability to plan and accomplish goals within deadlines
  • Hardworking and willing to take initiative is a MUST
