You will be responsible for entering data, reviewing financial statements, and creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets.

You will report to the Accounting Manager, work with a dynamic team, and enjoy the opportunity for career growth.

This opportunity is for a temporary Accountant position and is located in Morristown, New Jersey.

What you get to do every single day
– Prepare journal entries monthly
– Executing other related duties and partaking in special projects as assigned
– Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies
– Perform data entry
– Assisting with audit fieldwork for both financial and operational audits
– Helping with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
– Ensuring that accounts contained in the general ledger are correctJob Requirements:
– Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
– Suggested education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
– Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
– Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
– Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
– Strong attention to detail
