Accountant

We are looking for a strong Accountant to join our client’s expanding team! With a growing accounting and finance team, there is significant opportunity for growth and advancement within the department. Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and post entries to general ledger accounts.

• Handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.

• Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.

• Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current financial position.

• Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting

• Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields

• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

• Detail and deadline-oriented

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Ability to work efficiently independently as well as part of a team
