Summary:Aquatech is a global leader in water purification systems technology for both industrial and infrastructure markets located in the United States and internationally. We support our clients with sustainable water purification systems and technologies that are solving the worlds water scarcity challenges.Aquatech has an immediate need for a full time Accountant to work in our Canonsburg, PA location. The hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Non-Exempt employee. The candidate will be highly organized, detailed oriented, team player, and must also possess the ability to learn accounting software programs.Job Description:§ Perform a variety of general accounting tasks related to general ledger.§ Perform the company consolidation on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.§ Perform periodic intercompany reconciliation.§ Perform identified tasks towards the monthly financial review including: closing & MIS reporting§ Perform various monthly reconciliations relating to general ledger.§ Liaison with international subsidiaries for financial statement and MIS reporting to include: monitor and review of financial reporting related to branches and subsidiaries.§ Maintain cash analysis of international subsidiaries.§ Prepare financial analysis and variance analysis for relevant general ledger accounts.§ Liaison with banks and institutions to administer lines of credit.§ Work towards raising term debt for the company’s Capex program.§ Work with company’s tax advisers to ensure timely and effective Federal and State Tax compliance.§ Understand, review, monitor and mitigate company’s current exposure to Forex in consultation with company’s bankers / advisors.§ Developing financial modeling tools for financial decision making.§ Other miscellaneous accounting duties or responsibilities as assigned to support the operations of the department or the company.Skill Requirements:* Understand, Overview, Monitor and Review of accounting related to Branches and Subsidiaries.* Understand, review, monitor and mitigate company’s current exposure to Forex in consultation with company’s Bankers / advisors .* Proficient in Microsoft Products, SAP, Quickbooks, Excel, Word* Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
