100% Remote Investment Analyst

Description:

Position is responsible for functions within Portfolio Accounting which include P&I processing and cash/position reconciliations.

Review and process complex transactional information on Asset Management’s portfolio of fixed income and equity securities.

Analyze and resolve principal and interest differences with custodial banks and other internal teams.

Reconcile, investigate variances and adjust securities holdings information within the Investment Accounting system, Trading system and Custodial Bank systems.

Analyze income for appropriateness on all current securities holdings, research variances and work with internal and external groups to make needed adjustments.

Assist in or lead the completion of customer service requests with exceptional service levels

Demonstrate an understanding of the flow of information, systems, and reporting tools, and use that knowledge to analyze, troubleshoot and document complex securities issues.

Contribute ideas for, and implement, improvements to efficiency, accuracy and controls in relation to assigned work, projects or other process enhancements.

Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs or leads assigned tasks or projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other business related field

2-5 years of experience in finance services preferably in fixed income

Working knowledge of investments preferred

Candidate must be very proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
